Wed 7:45 Hull v Aston Villa
Hull held on for a point at St Andrews to give themselves hope of avoiding the drop. That was their first point in three games and safety is still three points away, four if you take into account West Ham's superior goal difference. At least there was no negative reaction to their whipping at home to Burnley but the Tigers lacked spark, and tiredness at the end of a long season could start to play its part. They host a Villa side that made it three wins in four Premier league games on the road with victory at Fratton Park last weekend. O'Neill is still aiming for fourth but is all too aware that their fate remains out of their own hands with Spurs and City looking current favourites. Villa are relatively injury-free at the moment and their first-choice front line would've scored more at Portsmouth had it not been for the heroics of David James. They'll start favourites at the KC Stadium and Hull will need to adopt a strong work ethic to stand a chance of taking anything from the game.
