Tues 7:45 Man City v Tottenham
A couple of weeks ago this was being billed as a make or break game for both sides as far as qualifying for next season's Champions League was concerned but Spurs look to have run out of legs as the number of games catches up with them. They've not won a game since they beat Stoke, just before they were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid, and their performances have lacked a cutting edge. Successive draws at home to Arsenal, West Brom and Blackpool plus defeat at Stamford Bridge has seen them drift six points behind City. Spurs are missing key players with Bale and Huddlestone out plus Modric and Crouch rated doubtful; that's without the high profile mistakes from keeper Gomes. Fourth spot is City's to throw away and victory would leave them just two points behind Arsenal, both with two games to play. Man City are likely to have Barry and Richards back fit plus Tevez is thought to feature at some point in a bid to be fit for the FA Cup final with Stoke at the weekend. City have won their last seven home games in all competitions and I can't see them missing the opportunity they've been aiming towards all season. Spurs might even be happy to lose this and cede fifth place to Liverpool, thus avoiding the headache of Europa League football next season.
Home Win 3-1
